What is FaernWalks?
Basically FaernWalks is the online representation of Faern immersing herself into her work based on a temporary relationship to a temporary environment via the art of travel. Faern ha s been producing Art in the form of photography, drawing, mixed media (and now adding time lapse & mini-video) as a reflection of her surroundings for many years and now she is taking it on the road- Whether just a few hours drive to a native American reservation or days of travel to the country of Mongolia, this place is her home online and How she does it, Why she does it and what happens (or doesn’t happen) along the way.
FaernWalks was born from the action of conquering a belief that she’d never get to travel anywhere due too some health issues, food difficulties and a general belief that’s she didn’t have the strength engrained form some childhood occurrences. Here she shows us the simple side of conquering fears and carrying your own foods to far off places.
